Questions, answered

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. It's not a trial and it doesn't expire. You get automatic tracking with a 7-day rolling timeline and unlimited manual entries, forever. If TimeMole saves you one forgotten billable hour, it has paid for itself — we think you'll want Pro for the history and the sync.

Do the prices include VAT or sales tax?

The prices on this page are shown without tax. At checkout, Paddle — our merchant of record — shows the final price in your local currency including the exact tax for your country: VAT in the EU and UK, GST in Australia, US sales tax where it applies, and so on. What you see at checkout is what you pay.

If you're buying as a business, enter your VAT ID at checkout and the reverse-charge mechanism applies — you'll get a proper invoice for your accountant.

Who is the seller on my invoice?

Paddle. They act as the merchant of record, which means they handle payment processing, tax collection and remittance worldwide, and issue your invoice. RODEIN (the company behind TimeMole) never sees your card details — fitting, for a product whose whole point is not collecting your data.

How many Macs can I use?

Free covers 1 Mac; Pro and Forever cover up to 3 Macs for one person. One honest quirk: because your data never touches a cloud, each Mac keeps its own local timeline — they don't sync with each other.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, anytime from the in-app license screen. Changes are prorated automatically, so you never pay twice for the same month.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Nothing — and that's the point. Your timeline lives in a standard SQLite file on your Mac that you can open, query and export whenever you like. If you cancel Pro, the app keeps working on the Free plan and your data stays exactly where it always was: with you.

What's your refund policy?

14 days, no questions asked. Email hello@rodein.de and we'll sort it out.

Do you offer team plans?

Not yet. Teams are on the roadmap — if you want TimeMole for your whole studio or agency, tell us about your setup and you'll be first in line.

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. While TimeMole is in beta, every feature is free. We'll give beta users plenty of notice before paid plans go live — no surprise charges, ever.
